Vesper

Stewardship

The student never pays

The student does not pay Vesper. Other products in this category often charge the student for the federal return and again for each state. That's not how we do things.

The file

What comes in: campus records the school already holds.

What goes out: a prepared nonresident return.

Who can see a student file: the CPA who prepares the return, the campus officers who already hold those records, and Vesper operators under contract. Not a marketing list. Not a public dashboard.

Where the work runs

Student files are processed with NVIDIA Confidential Computing: protected while in use, encrypted during processing, isolated in hardware — not only at rest or in transit. Vesper is a member of the NVIDIA Developer Program.

Education records

Campus records used for this work are education records. They are handled under a written data-processing agreement with the campus or conference. They are not used for marketing. They are retained only as long as the return and the campus’s own record-keeping require, then removed.

Who the CPA is

When a campus does not already have a filing product, Wolters Kluwer / CCH CPAs prepare, review, and file. Vesper is not the CPA firm. Vesper organizes the file. CCH signs the licensed work.

What Vesper will not do

Will not sell student data. Will not use student files to market other services. Will not put a student on a call list. Will not publish identifiable student results.
